The novel depicts a culture all of us should know, laugh along with and even shed some tears along with as well. We are privy to customs, traditions and laughter when we read about the different characters in this lively, interesting, sad, and funny story.
However, the escapades, adventures, the happiness, and sadness; the hardships and tragedies occurring in the lives of these characters are the same as those taking place to other ethnic groups throughout the world.
